Customer Reviews

I love this oven

Before buying this particular oven, I read as many product reviews as could be found. They were for a similar Hamilton Beach Oven but not this exact one. And many were quite negative. But it seemed to be just what I wanted. This would be my third countertop oven. The first one lasted over 25 years. The second one, only about 8 years. It arrived earlier than predicted, always a plus. I burned every single thing I put in it for the first week. Not the oven's fault. I'm laughing as I write this. It is so efficient and works so well and I forgot the times on the previous oven were due to it's "dying" process. So, didn't think to compensate for a "new" oven. Well, now I'm doing much better and things are marvelous from this little jewel. Cookies, main dishes, heating up sauces quickly, (I just moved, gave away my microwave and decided not to buy another), sandwiches, even toast from atisan breads are perfectly cooked. So all the burnt foods were obviously "operator error". At first, I worried what oven ware would fit into it but no worries. I now have a very tall stack of things that will fit comfortably in this oven including several 12-inch glass baking dishes for pizza and cookies. I only had to buy cookie sheets as all the rest (bread pans, muffin tins, springform cake pan, angelfood cake pan, etc) all fit inside very nicely. And best of all, the really large and oversized items can be given away, taking up less storage space in a space-challenged apt. I would buy this oven again and again. It's the best. Oh, yes, the "bell" rings at the completion of cooking times and I can hear it in the most distant places of this apt. We've had really hot weather this summer and I've so appreciated only having to heat the kitchen for very few minutes to cook meals then a very quick cool down afterwards. I've not even turned on the large stove/oven that is built in to this apt. And I don't plan to, either. This oven is all I need. Oh, yes, I've been using it since the end of July 2007 - slightly under a month and with daily usage.

Great Oven for the Price

I bought this oven to replace one that was recalled from QVC. It not only does the same things that the CE oven did, it does them just as well and for a lesser price. While I have not tried the rotisserie, I didn't use it on the other one either, it does bake, broil and convection cook beautifully. I am single it is the perfect size and I don't have to turn on the big oven. It is very spacious on the inside, and looks nice as well. The control dials are easy to see and operate. I highly recommend this oven.

So Much Oven for So Little Money!

I almost didn't buy this oven because the price was so low, I figured it had to be problematic. But the other glowing reviews convinced me to try, and was I pleasantly surprised! We use it out on our screen porch as our "summer oven," and it gets heavy use almost nightly -- chickens, roasts, potatoes, casseroles, you name it. The heating is even and steady, and the results are dependable. I especially like that it doesn't have any computerized elements that can fail...it is simple, based on time-tested analog technology. Can you believe, we are expanding our summer kitchen...so we just bought a second one of the same model! I'd highly recommend this to anyone who needs a good, dependable, affordable workhorse. Exterior dimensions are approx. 15 deep X 13 high X 19 wide. Interior USABLE dimensions (measured from bottom rack to upper heating element) are 12 deep X 12.5 wide X 8.5 high. Appearance is not flashy, in fact it looks cheap: black plastic and stamped metal. (At that price, who cares?) Cleaning is easy with the pull-out crumb tray.

Great Countertop Oven

I bought this countertop oven as a Christmas present to myself. I researched for days and definately made the right choice. This is the first time I have used a convection oven and it is great. I highly recommend this oven. Plenty of room for a countertop oven. I will be using it for all my big meals that I can't fit everything in my range and for small meals.

Great little oven!

I absolutely love this little oven! I haven't tried the rotisserie yet, but the convection, bake, and broil functions work great! I use it every chance I get instead of the big oven.
